The Ikon pass allows you to make memories that will last a lifetime. Ikon has these series were they show different groups making memories. They have this video (above) featuring a dad and his kids going on a ski day as well as a group of friends meeting up to go on the mountain. The Ikon pass is so wonderful because it allows you to explore so many different mountains and make all new memories on those mountains.

I still hold on to those memories of my family going on a ski trip. I remember the drive to Copper Mountain, Colorado that we took and all the excitement I held on to on that long drive. I remember my dad pulling me on my skis helping me along the way as I wasn’t comfortable skiing yet. The long lift rides were always my favorite as we would joke around and float above the mountains. I truly believe that these ski trips really made me fall in love with skiing and grow closer to my family.  I was about the same age as the girl in the video and now I am 21 years old. Those memories that I made will forever be engrained into my heart. Watching this Ikon ad it really brought me back to that memory. Copper Mountain is on the Ikon pass which means I can go there whenever and relive those memories.

Having the Ikon pass it opens the door to travel for skiing. Now that I am older and paying for stuff myself, I would hardly consider taking a ski trip knowing how much day passes are at most resorts. Lately, day passes are ranging from $80-200 and they keep rising. With having the Ikon pass I am constantly going or planning ski trips. Most of them have been to Colorado but I was also able to visit Jackson Hole, which day passes are $200. This year has been an absolute dream of being able to ski wherever and whenever.

My most recent trip was to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I was able to go with my best friends and create memories that we will never forget. We got ourselves in such an embarrassing moment but were able to laugh it off and constantly bring it up to each other. It is not just the memories on the mountains that we will have but also exploring the city of Jackson. We were able to immerse ourselves in what life is like as a local there. 

The Ikon pass opens up so many possibilities. It allows you to make new memories with the people that mean the most to you. It allows you to explore new mountains and cities. It brings people together to create the best moments. I have absolutely loved every moment with my Ikon pass because it has made this ski season the best one yet. It has brought me closer to my friends and allowed me to relive some of the memories I had as a kid skiing with my family.
