Why did you decide to do a blog about the Ikon Pass?

I really love skiing and recently got the Ikon pass this year. I am always wondering what pass is best to get but ultimately decided to get the Ikon pass this year. Since I have had the pass I have been to so many resorts I probably would have never gone to. I think everyone should get the Ikon pass and I wanted to create a place to show why people should.

Why should we get the Ikon Pass?

It is such an affordable way to be able to check out many different ski resorts. Day passes to ski resorts can range from $80-200. Some of the resorts that are $200 a day are on this pass and you get 5 days at them. I just believe that it is such ana amazing opportunity to visit other resorts and ski such different terrain at such an amazing price.

How did you get into skiing?

I started skiing when I was 8 years old. I skied for quite a while but then wanted to learn how to snowboard. I got lessons and then worked at a ski resort so I could get a free ski pass and go every day. After that, I just fell in love with the ski world. This last year I have started skiing again and have loved every second. I love being able to switch from skiing and snowboarding.

Should I get the Ikon Pass if I am new to skiing?

I would say of course you should get it! This pass will be the best way for you to figure out which resort is your favorite. Also, with all of the different terrain, it will help you grow as a skier or snowboarder being able to switch up which terrain you are riding.

What is your favorite resort on the Ikon Pass?

I have only been to the Utah resorts and Jackson Hole on the pass. My favorite Utah resort is Brighton. I love skiing there and the environment is so fun. Jackson Hole is also so amazing. Very different from the Utah resorts with different snow and terrain. I love both of those a lot.
